2405 Hawaiian Avenue
A bright, comfortable home with beautiful landscaping in a convenient location. The house and property are well maintained, the gardens are full of variety and color, and the back yard beckons you to make it your own private retreat.

A haven on Hawaiian... welcome home.

Welcome!  Come sit and relax in the spacious, inviting living room,

or continue into the dining room (with newly laid porcelain tile) to smell dinner cooking and watch the hummingbirds and songbirds in the backyard.

Continue through to the clean and comfortable kitchen,

which has a cooktop stove, convenient counter space and a rich and resilient hardwood floor.

The large family room can host a variety of activities and enjoys plenty of sunlight from the back yard.

From here you can head out the sliding door to the back deck...

or cozy up to a warming fire.

Wake up to a view of the morning sun on the bright green apple tree leaves and the sound of the waterfall in the backyard pond.  The master suite has a fan light and an organized closet with three hanging rods at different heights and built-in shelving.

The bright master bath has a cultured marble sink and counter.

The second and third bedrooms are comfortable and look out onto the front yard.

The hall bath has recently laid ceramic tile and a spacious cultured marble counter.

The shaded back deck may be the most relaxing spot on the property.  It is large enough for pleasant gatherings but small enough to take care of easily.  Even in the heat of summer the breeze and shade allow for an enjoyable outdoor dinner.

The west-facing view from the deck offers beautiful sunset viewing.

The row of mature trees creates the sense of a forest -- keep your eye out for the Merlin falcon who has been spotted on branches here several times.

String up a hammock and take a nap in the warm breeze.

The fountain waterfalls musically into the shallow pond and attracts red dragonflies in the spring and summer.

What do you envision to accompany the water lily? Koi goldfish?  A water garden?  Or the simplicity of how it is?

The mimosa on the south side of the home provides shade and also attracts hummingbirds daily (even 4 or 5 at a time!) when in bloom.  Currently the greenhouse has a forest of tomatoes and leafy greens - the covering extends the growing season to make it easy to get started early and enjoy the harvest longer.

The concord grapevine in the back corner produces several large bowlfuls of rich and delicious grapes every fall and had been trained to a short arbor.
